My journey began in 2005 with a bricklaying
apprenticeship, working on new builds to
earn my NVQ. I stayed exclusively
bricklaying for five years before teaming up
with a groundworks company.


Later, I joined a group of general builders, and
that’s when my range of trades really grew.
After some time with them, I was encouraged
to take on private projects. It wasn’t long
before I took the plunge and launched Weekes
Building Solutions.


Starting out was a challenge—new ventures
always come with some nerves—but over
10 years later, I can confidently say it was
the best decision I’ve ever made!
